This model is an automatic self-winding watch powered by the wearer’s wrist movement. Under normal wear, manual winding is not required. However, if the wearer’s activity level is insufficient to maintain power reserve, manual adjustment may be needed, which is a common misunderstanding among those unfamiliar with mechanical watches.
To prevent moisture from entering the case and to maintain water resistance, always ensure the crown is properly locked after adjustment. It is also important to understand that “water-resistant” does not mean resistant to hot water or steam, which may still damage the watch.
