Franck Muller (Swiss luxury watchmaker) Vanguard V45 Grand Central Tourbillon new release, featuring an advanced central tourbillon architecture and modern sport-luxury design language.
This model highlights the unique “central tourbillon” structure, placing the rotating tourbillon at the center of the dial to become the visual focal point of the watch. The dial layout is re-engineered so that the hands are mounted around the tourbillon mechanism, creating a suspended, three-dimensional visual effect.
The Cintrée Curvex-style tonneau case is redesigned with fluid, streamlined contours. Extended sapphire crystal surfaces at the top and bottom enhance dial openness and visibility. The case is constructed with a carbon fiber-inspired finish, displaying subtle black and gray woven textures that combine elegance with a modern technical aesthetic.
The dial features lacquer finishing with oversized Arabic numerals and a radiating guilloché spiral pattern, visually echoing the rotation of the tourbillon. The combination of depth and texture emphasizes the watch’s mechanical complexity.
Powered by the in-house FM CX 40T-CTR automatic movement, operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour with an approximate 4-day power reserve, delivering stable and high-performance timekeeping.
Fitted with a fluororubber and technical nylon strap, paired with a brushed folding clasp for durability and secure wearing comfort.
A highly technical and visually striking interpretation of the tourbillon concept, combining haute horlogerie craftsmanship with contemporary sports aesthetics.
