This timepiece is inspired by the design language of Hublot, continuing the Big Bang Sang Bleu III series developed in collaboration with the Sang Bleu studio, renowned for its geometric tattoo-inspired design language and architectural aesthetics.
The 42mm case adopts a tonneau-shaped multi-faceted structure, enhancing three-dimensional visual depth and creating a strong sculptural presence on the wrist. The case architecture integrates layered geometry to emphasize symmetry, structure, and visual complexity.
Six H-shaped titanium screws pass through the bezel, reinforcing the industrial character of the design. The case uses a multi-layer “sandwich” construction combining advanced materials and surface finishing techniques, while the crown is crafted from overmolded rubber for improved tactile performance and durability.
The dial and case surfaces feature overlapping geometric tattoo-inspired patterns that extend across multiple layers, expressing a strong artistic identity. The sapphire crystal dial allows a clear view of the HUB4700-inspired automatic skeleton chronograph movement, highlighting its mechanical depth and architectural movement design.
The geometric hands follow the same design language, reinforcing the visual coherence between dial architecture and time display. The surface finishing includes polishing, satin brushing, engraving, carving, chamfering, and faceting, creating a complex relief-like texture with strong light-and-shadow contrast.
Although the watch has a bold and prominent silhouette, it is engineered with balanced ergonomics, making it suitable for a wide range of wrist sizes for both men and women. The design emphasizes comfort without compromising its sculptural aesthetic.
Overall, this model represents the most advanced evolution of the Sang Bleu series, extending its geometric tattoo concept even to the sapphire crystal surface, delivering a highly expressive luxury watch with strong architectural identity and mechanical visual impact.
