The Richard Mille RM001 Tourbillon upgraded version brings a refined interpretation of the brand’s first-ever timepiece, with multiple enhancements to achieve exceptional accuracy and craftsmanship.
Upgrades include:
- Reconstructed Movement Architecture: Based on original specifications, the bridge layout has been re-engineered to closely match the authentic structure, reaching over 95% similarity.
- Enhanced Dial Construction: Upgraded to a dual-layer hardened glass dial, delivering purer tones, higher transparency, and more intricate detailing.
- Premium Strap Improvement: Equipped with an imported high-quality rubber strap, featuring smoother finishing, improved comfort, and a refined ventilation design that aligns with the original configuration.
As the first model ever released by Richard Mille, the RM001 also represents one of the earliest true tourbillon executions of its kind. Developed using original data, every effort has been made to recreate the authentic aesthetic and mechanical essence.
After more than two years of refinement, the dual mainspring barrels operate smoothly, delivering up to three days of power reserve when fully wound. The 12 o’clock position features a functional dual power reserve display, consistent with the original design.
Powered by a manually wound tourbillon movement built on the same architecture as the original, it ensures stable and precise timekeeping. The dial utilizes a high-transparency dual-layer structure combining mineral and sapphire glass. The case is manufactured using advanced 5-axis CNC machining, paired with a folding clasp and premium finishing.
With its exposed tourbillon and power reserve indicator, this model reflects a high level of mechanical sophistication. As one of the most iconic and enduring Richard Mille designs, the RM001 remains a timeless classic that continues to influence the brand’s lineup.
A standout piece crafted for collectors who value both heritage and technical excellence.
