Richard Mille RM27-02 is a high-performance sports tourbillon watch, featuring an ultra-lightweight case and exceptional stability capable of withstanding extreme acceleration during impact. Its bold and dynamic design combines powerful aesthetics with cutting-edge materials and the complexity of a tourbillon mechanism.
Inspired by racing car chassis, Richard Mille integrates the skeletonized baseplate of the movement with the case into a unified structure, significantly enhancing shock resistance. To further reduce weight, the case is crafted from ultra-light carbon fiber, making the entire watch as light as paper while showcasing a rugged, Damascus steel-like texture.
Through the sapphire crystal, the full movement structure is clearly visible. The baseplate is made of carbon fiber and seamlessly integrated with the case. At 6 o’clock sits a floating tourbillon, while at 12 o’clock is Richard Mille’s exclusive fast-rotating barrel, delivering up to 52 hours of power reserve and improving energy efficiency by 20% during initial winding.
The black carbon bezel is secured to the case with 12 grade-5 titanium screws. It is paired with a red strap and red crown for a striking contrast. For enhanced readability, the tips of the hour and minute hands are highlighted with bright white luminous material.
RM27-02 features a full carbon fiber case, sapphire crystal, carbon fiber baseplate, floating tourbillon movement with 19 jewels, 52-hour power reserve, rubber or textile strap options, titanium clasp, and water resistance up to 50 meters.
