The Black Panther figure on the dial is rendered with extremely detailed craftsmanship, making every element appear vivid and lifelike.
The Black Panther sculpture on the dial is crafted in white gold. Artisans use laser cutting followed by hand engraving to define the suit’s texture in fine detail, then apply layered coloring techniques to complete the surface finish. The sculpture is mounted on the inner dial ring, which is sandblasted and matched in tone with the purple strap elements.
Every detail of the Black Panther figure—including claws, musculature, and facial features—is hand-engraved by a single master artisan. The engraving and painting process requires approximately 30 hours of work. The result is a highly expressive, collectible-level artistic piece inspired by Marvel’s superhero universe, elevating watch design into a sculptural art form.
The Royal Oak Concept “Black Panther” 26620 features a sandblasted titanium case, black ceramic bezel and crown, 42mm diameter, and 14.6mm thickness. The dial includes a white gold hand-painted 3D Black Panther motif, purple inner bezel, white gold hour markers and hands, and is powered by a manual-winding Caliber 2965 movement with a 3Hz (28,800 vph) frequency and 75-hour power reserve.
It is paired with a purple rubber strap and a titanium folding clasp with AP engraving, and includes an additional black rubber strap.
