Bokey TimeRichard Mille introduces the RM 65-01 McLaren W1, the fourth collaboration with British supercar manufacturer McLaren. Inspired by the latest generation McLaren W1 supercar, this timepiece features a bold and dynamic design that reflects speed and performance. The bezel combines Carbon TPT® carbon fiber with Grade 5 titanium for the first time, accented with racing colors such as orange, yellow, and blue.
The tonneau-shaped case draws inspiration from the elegant lines of the McLaren W1, featuring a distinctive concave-convex contour expressed through a double-layer bezel design. The upper layer is crafted from Carbon TPT® carbon fiber, each with a unique pattern, while the lower layer is made of polished Grade 5 titanium, with a minimum thickness of just 0.5 mm. The chronograph pushers are made from Carbon TPT carbon fiber, and the titanium crown is wrapped in orange rubber to enhance grip and handling.
The skeletonized titanium dial takes inspiration from the wheel design of the W1 supercar. Color accents echo the look of a high-performance dashboard: the hour hand, minute hand, and small seconds at 6 o’clock are highlighted in yellow; the 30-minute and 12-hour counters feature orange accents; and the chronograph seconds track is marked in blue. A vertical date display is positioned at 11 o’clock.
The watch is powered by the RMAC4 automatic movement, offering a power reserve of 60 hours. The baseplate and bridges are crafted from Grade 5 titanium, ensuring durability and precision, with chronograph accuracy up to 1/10th of a second.
The rubber strap is available in black or orange, featuring aerodynamic patterns inspired by the air intake design of the W1 engine hood.
