The all-new 37mm Ref. 15550ST 50th Anniversary edition introduces a striking green dial version. The green tone immediately evokes Audemars Piguet’s signature brand identity, delivering a fresh and highly attractive visual impression.
The new Ref. 15550ST continues to preserve the original 1972 design language, while introducing subtle refinements across the case, dial, and bracelet. The case features enlarged bevels on the upper and lower edges, enhancing overall proportion and visual balance. In addition, the finishing process has been upgraded, with stronger contrasts between satin brushing and polished surfaces, creating a more dynamic play of light and shadow.
The dial retains the signature “Tapisserie” pattern, while the 12 o’clock position now features a 24K gold 3D “Audemars Piguet” logo created using an electroforming process similar to 3D printing, replacing the previous raised AP logo and printed branding.
The movement’s 22K rose gold rotor is engraved with the “50th Anniversary” marking. It features a skeletonized design showcasing both the anniversary emblem and AP logo engraving, finished with a combination of satin brushing and polished detailing.
The case back has been further integrated into the case structure, improving wrist comfort and wearability.
The bracelet has also been redesigned. The first four links are changed from parallelogram shapes to trapezoids, with a gradually narrowing width for a more streamlined appearance. The links are also thinner, resulting in a lighter and more comfortable wearing experience.
