GR Factory presents a new masterpiece developed over three years — the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Perpetual Calendar LP2 edition. Built under a “no compromise in time or cost” philosophy, this model recreates the full functional architecture of the original 868 integrated perpetual calendar movement using an imported 9015 base movement, aiming to achieve a complete functional equivalence with the official configuration.
Perpetual Calendar Function
A hidden push button at the 8 o’clock position allows adjustment of the month and annual calendar system. The year display operates normally, supporting a range from 2024 to 2029, making module adjustment and replacement more practical.
Calendar / Week / Month Functions
Date (3 o’clock):
First crown position allows forward date adjustment by clockwise rotation; reverse adjustment is possible but not recommended due to potential interaction with the moonphase system.
Week (9 o’clock):
Second crown position adjusts via reverse rotation synchronized with 24-hour time setting.
Month (6 o’clock):
Adjusted via a hidden push button at the 8 o’clock position, with a dedicated adjustment tool included for operation.
Each sub-function is independently adjustable, improving usability during daily wear.
Warning Indicator Window
A sector-shaped indicator above the central axis displays system status:
White zone: safe period for manual year adjustment
Blue zone: restricted adjustment period
During the blue zone, adjusting the calendar is discouraged to avoid potential mechanical stress. This is a structural characteristic of the complex 868/1-style movement rather than a defect.
Moonphase Function
Located at 12 o’clock, the moonphase display completes a full cycle every 30 days, achieving a true lunar phase simulation. It can be adjusted via the first crown position, solving independent moonphase correction limitations.
Case & Craftsmanship
Case material: 316L stainless steel matching original specifications
Manufacturing: CNC precision machining for each component
Size: 39mm diameter, approx. 10mm thickness (optimized for complex movement integration)
Dial reproduction emphasizes original proportions:
Applied indices are molded solid markers with strong dimensionality and gloss
Three recessed sub-dials replicate original structure
Moonphase and calendar windows feature pronounced depth layering
Logo and markers maintain slight relief for authenticity
Dial color closely matched to original tone
Hands & Finishing
Signature dauphine-style hands of Jaeger-LeCoultre
Half brushed, half polished finishing
Heat-blued steel hands with refined color saturation
Subtle curvature applied to hour and seconds hands
GR Factory’s engineering philosophy emphasizes meticulous replication and mechanical refinement, aiming to deliver the aesthetic and functional complexity of the Master Perpetual Calendar while maintaining wearability and visual authenticity.
