5C Factory presents a refined interpretation of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Series reference 1558420, featuring a highly detailed execution focused on symmetry, texture, and classical calendar functionality.
This model measures 39mm in diameter with a 12mm profile, balancing visual presence with a refined wrist feel.
Case Design
The watch adopts a subtly domed “box-style” dial profile, carefully reworked through multiple iterations to better reflect the gentle curvature and vintage-inspired character of the original design language. The goal is to preserve the elegance of traditional watchmaking while maintaining structural clarity.
Dial Layout
At 12 o’clock, two apertures display the day and month.
At 6 o’clock, a sub-dial integrates the small seconds and moon phase display.
Around the dial edge, a date indicator track is implemented to maintain full calendar functionality in a layered and readable layout.
Movement & Construction
The watch is powered by a 5C Factory-custom modified Cal. 866/1 automatic movement, designed for improved stability and smoother operation. The movement architecture is tuned to support multi-function calendar indications while maintaining consistent timekeeping performance.
Bracelet & Clasp
The folding clasp is engineered with a seamless structure, creating a continuous curved profile when viewed from the side. This improves wrist integration and enhances wearing comfort. The clasp geometry has been adjusted to closely match the original ergonomic design.
5C Factory focuses on balancing visual fidelity and mechanical reliability, aiming to deliver a refined interpretation of a highly complex calendar watch, emphasizing classical aesthetics with modern production consistency.
