Bokey TimeTW Factory presents a refined interpretation of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Calendar reference 1558420, developed through extensive testing and iterative refinement over a two-year development cycle.
The project involved repeated mechanical validation across calendar, weekday, month, and moon phase functions, with a strong focus on structural stability and visual authenticity.
Development Process
TW’s watchmakers conducted extensive functional testing, refining the interaction between calendar modules, moon phase display, and date system. The goal was to achieve a coherent and visually faithful interpretation of the original multi-calendar architecture while improving mechanical consistency.
Dial Layout & Functions
At 12 o’clock, two apertures display the weekday and month.
At 6 o’clock, a sub-dial integrates the moon phase display.
The outer ring of the dial is used for date indication, maintaining a layered and readable calendar structure.
Case & Crystal
Both front and caseback are fitted with sapphire crystal glass, enhancing transparency and scratch resistance while allowing full visual appreciation of the dial and movement architecture.
Strap & Clasp
The watch is paired with imported Italian calfskin leather, offering a refined texture and comfortable wrist feel. The folding clasp is manufactured in matching case material to ensure consistency in design and durability.
Movement
Equipped with a modified Cal.866 automatic movement architecture, designed to replicate the functional behavior and energy performance characteristics of the original configuration.
