GR Factory presents a highly complex interpretation of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Perpetual Calendar, developed over three years with a focus on functional reconstruction, structural refinement, and visual authenticity.
This model aims to replicate the multi-layer calendar architecture of the original 868 mechanism, using a modified 9015-based integrated movement platform with expanded functional control logic and improved operational stability.
Movement
Powered by a modified Cal.9015-based integrated system designed to simulate full perpetual calendar functionality. The architecture is tuned to support synchronized multi-disc calendar operations while improving stability and usability in daily wear.
Perpetual Calendar Functions
The watch integrates multiple independently adjustable calendar components:
Month adjustment via an invisible push control located at the 8 o’clock position
Date display at 3 o’clock, adjustable via crown first position (forward and reverse adjustment supported)
Weekday display at 9 o’clock, adjusted via crown second position linked with 24-hour time control
Month display at 6 o’clock, adjusted via dedicated hidden push mechanism with included adjustment tool
A calendar safety indicator window is located on the dial center axis, showing white for adjustable periods and blue for restricted adjustment periods to protect movement integrity.
The moon phase display at 12 o’clock completes a full 30-day cycle, offering synchronized astronomical-style indication with independent adjustment capability.
Case & Construction
The case is constructed from stainless steel consistent with original specifications, produced through CNC precision machining. The watch maintains a 39mm diameter with an optimized thickness of approximately 10mm, balancing multi-function complexity with wearable proportions.
Dial & Detailing
The dial features fully re-created applied hour markers with three-dimensional structure and refined polishing. Sub-dials are recessed in accordance with the original layout, creating depth and visual hierarchy. The moon phase and calendar apertures are carefully integrated to enhance dimensional realism.
Hands
The watch uses classic feuille-style hands, combining brushed and polished finishing. Heat-blued steel hands are treated using traditional thermal coloring techniques to achieve a deeper and more authentic blue tone.
GR Factory focuses on delivering a technically ambitious interpretation of the Master Perpetual Calendar, emphasizing functional complexity, structural fidelity, and detailed visual execution for enthusiasts who appreciate high-complexity calendar watch design.
