JB Roger Dubuis Excalibur Spider RDDBEX0479 is one of the brand’s most supercar-inspired designs. This skeleton flying tourbillon watch showcases the signature openworked architecture of the Excalibur collection.
It features a 45mm × 13mm titanium case, consistent with original specifications, with a bold star-shaped design and a Celtic cross–inspired tourbillon cage.
Powered by a Shanghai-customized RD505SQ manual-winding movement, the watch includes a gold balance wheel with weighted screws, offering improved stability and precision compared to standard versions. The movement achieves a high similarity to the original structure, with approximately 98% architectural accuracy.
The layout removes unnecessary gears at the 11 o’clock and 4 o’clock positions, and the bridges are decorated with orderly circular graining. Redundant calendar components have been removed for a cleaner mechanical structure.
A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the dial, while the strap is made from imported Thai natural rubber, offering high flexibility and refined craftsmanship. It is paired with an original-style folding clasp.
This model is bold, aggressive, and highly recognizable, making it a favorite among supercar enthusiasts for its strong wrist presence and distinctive design.
