This timepiece from Audemars Piguet showcases a refined expression of modern watchmaking aesthetics and engineering precision.
Audemars Piguet presents the Royal Oak Offshore series, 44mm ultra-high value edition, featuring advanced colored ceramic forging technology.
The case and bezel are crafted using imported Japanese zirconia ceramic. Without the use of pigments, the material is formed under extremely high pressure and temperature, resulting in high-density colored ceramic. Each piece is carefully selected to ensure perfect color consistency with the original design.
Every edge and angle is precisely CNC-machined and finely polished to ensure perfect structural alignment. The ceramic case, middle case, and caseback are engineered to align in a perfectly straight structure while maintaining a smooth, non-abrasive finish for comfortable wear.
The bezel brushing is executed with high-end finishing techniques, ensuring continuous and seamless texture lines. Each hexagonal screw sits perfectly flush with the bezel surface, with no protrusion or depression, reflecting high-level craftsmanship.
The dial features the signature Audemars Piguet “Grande Tapisserie” pattern as its base, with clearly defined grid textures that have been carefully refined to enhance depth and visual layering.
At 3 o’clock, the date display is magnified through a sapphire cyclops lens, achieving a TPE magnification effect comparable to the original design.
All hands and hour markers are finely finished with no visible burrs from any angle, addressing common finishing imperfections found in many timepieces. Swiss luminous material is applied and hand-filled to ensure even distribution, consistent brightness, and color accuracy close to the original standard.
The movement uses a 7750-based chronograph caliber modified to a 3126-style layout, featuring a 12 o’clock small seconds display, 6 o’clock 12-hour counter, and 9 o’clock 30-minute counter. The movement is finely adjusted to improve stability over the base 7750 architecture, delivering enhanced reliability for chronograph functions.
Overall, this model represents a high-end execution of the Offshore chronograph concept, combining visual impact, technical finishing, and functional chronograph architecture.
